About

A feat which is beyond my skill
I readily attempt.
To paint the portrait of my words,
Disorderly unkempt.

I’ve lived the average, boring life,
Failures far between,
Of subject matter I have none,
For strife I’ve never seen.

And yet these words have come to pass,
Meaningless though they may be.
I spew the refuse of my thoughts,
And call it poetry.*

I must apologize because this blog isn’t very interesting. It’s just random. If you’ve found your way here somehow, I hope you find something that interests you.

I’m 17 and currently attend a crappy American public school, from which I will be graduating in about nine months. This is very exciting for me. I have grand plans for college, you see.

I suppose I should tell you about my history and that kind of stuff, because some people think it’s interesting. I was born in Haifa, Israel, to parents who’d moved there from Russia (which is why I speak fluent Russian). I stayed there for four years, after which I lived in Germany for a year, and then back to Haifa for another year, and then off to the United States where I learned English and pig-latin and how to play freeze-tag and how to properly eat corn on the cob and that sort of thing. I lived in Illinois for two years, after which I moved to this undisclosed suburban area of Ohio. It’s kind of pretty during the summer, but otherwise boring as hell, and I hope to get out of here in a year.

The other sort of consequential thing about me is that I’m a writer, a photographer, and a cynic, and most of what will be posted on this blog will relate somehow to either of those categories.

And well…I suppose that’s all. Enjoy the blog. :-)
